Fees & Funding

The Friary Preschool accepts children with or without Government funding. Government funding would normally start the term after a child’s third birthday - Term Time 38 weeks.

We are happy to accept children prior to this first term on the basis of paid hours. If funding is being used at another setting,
fees will be due for the Preschool at the rate of £6.00 per hour.

Should a child be entitled to 15 hours free childcare the Preschool is able to consider additional hours at a rate of £6.00 per hour.

We accept the new 30 hours extended funding for 3-4 year olds. Spaces will be prioritised to children who will have turned 3 before
the start of September. We will try to accommodate as many other applications as possible throughout the school year as spaces are available. Please see our prospectus for more details.

All payments for paid hours must be paid in advance by bank transfer.

- For bank details please contact us at info@friarypreschool.co.uk or get in touch through our Contact Page.

In order to continue to access an Extended Free Entitlement place, the parent will need to reconfirm their code every three months via their online childcare account: https://www.gov.uk/sign-in-childcare-account

Parents are encouraged to follow the Family Information Service Facebook page @FISWESTSUSSEX, as they regularly post reminders about 30 hour code   deadlines and the importance of reconfirming every 3 months.
